We had the great privilege to meet Dr. Stan Foster, through CEDEPCA’s Intercultural Encounters Program. For many years, Dr. Stan along with dear Doroteita came to Guatemala to work on clinics in the area of San Juan Ostuncalco, Quetzaltenango – a rural area in Guatemala. He left a legacy in health and development capacity strengthening in 40 countries; he was a great mentor and a friend. He will be missed, but his work and initiatives with regards to nutrition in children continue being present.
We pray that dear Dorothy, their children and grandchildren will be comforted, and that they can sense God’s peace during this difficult time.
