I met Stan when he joined my step climbing challenge team at Rollins around 2008. He was such a warm, friendly, thoughtful person. He brought me a lovely wall hanging from his travels as a gift for my team leadership and continued to swing by our office suite to say hello years later. When he brought folks to tour our suite in the Claudia Nance Rollins Building (with its lovely antiques) he always left some change to “pay” for our troubles. I’m so grateful that our paths crossed, and I will always remember him fondly and with great affection. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and many people across the world whose lives he touched.
