Music is an integral part of our worship every Sunday at Hope Church and an opportunity for everyone to lift their voices in praise of God. Through our musical program and our choir, “The Sounds of Hope,” we seek to worship God in song, to support congregational singing, and to offer our very best musical gifts to God.
All ages, genders, backgrounds and skill levels are encouraged to join us. Our music ministry unites the old and the young – it’s a wonderful way for children and adults to connect with the church. All you need is a generous heart, a little extra time, and the willingness to learn music to add to our worship service. Wherever you are on your musical journey, you are welcome here!
Our Director of Music: Austin Burns began his music ministry at Hope Church! on 8/20/23. Austin is a tenor and instrumentalist who earned his Masters degree in vocal performance from New England Conservatory in 2015 and his bachelor’s degree in composition from LaGrange College in 2013. Since 2022 he has been music minister at St. James Lutheran church in Barrington RI and for two years before that, music minister at Pilgrim United Church of Christ in New Bedford Mass.
